It’s Day 9 and time for one of my favorite brands, rabbit!
I’ve been a huge fan of rabbit for years, since their very first launch and their EZ Collection is one of my favorite fabrics.
12 Days of Runnylegsmas Day 9: rabbit
The EZ collection is made with rabbit’s impossibly soft quick n’ fit fabric. They started the collection with short sleeve tee shirts, then added long sleeves & tanks. They now have EZ shorts, EZ Zip (quarter zip & hoodie), EZ joggers, tights & bras.
rabbit sent Sean & I a few pieces of the EZ collection that we didn’t have so we could share our thoughts with you.
I have a few EZ tanks, they are really comfortable, I wear them casually but also for running.
I wear a size small in EZ tops, I find the tanks to be just a little more form fitting than the short & long sleeve tees, even in the same size.
I have a bunch of EZ short sleeves. I wore the raspberry color at NYC Marathon last month.
I also have a collection of EZ long sleeve tees. While it doesn’t get super cold here in San Diego, they are the perfect weight for cooler mornings & evenings. I wear them in the morning when it’s a little colder in the house. I also wear the long sleeves on runs during the colder months.
On to the EZ shorts, I have purchased all 3 colors (charcoal, fresh salmon & eclipse) of the EZ 2.5 in shorts. These shorts are my go-to for around the house, errands, pretty much anything not related to exercise.
I wear a medium in all rabbit bottoms. I found the EZ 2.5 in short to be a perfect fit in the medium. I also noticed that in the charcoal & eclipse versions that the draw string is a touch tighter than the fresh salmon which has a slightly looser waist-band.
Now for some of the new to me pieces. The EZ tights are incredible – they literally feel like a second skin and you barely even notice that you are wearing them.
Super lightweight with mid-rise elastic waistband, a drawcord and two-front internal key pockets.
I also got a pair of the EZ Short tight 7in. This style is a little longer than I normally wear & they are still the super soft EZ material but I felt it was a touch thicker than the tights which felt like a soft second skin.
Now for a guy’s perspective.
Sean pretty lives in EZ tees. He literally wears one every single day. It might be the only shirt style that he wears.
His favorite part about the EZ tee outside the impossibly soft material is the fit. The shoulders are perfectly designed with no seam, which is comfortable and functional. It has become the shirt that he compares every other shirt to and nothing has met it’s high standards.
EZ tees are perfect for a training run, bootcamp type work-outs, for casual work attire and every other activity.
Sean has several years of EZ tees in a number of different colors and they are always part of the rotation, the quality is incredible.
The EZ Tank is also a nice addition to his collection!
In addition having worn the long sleeve version, Sean can attest that they are equally as comfortable and perfect for conditions that need a little extra warmth. From providing warmth on cool runs, as a base layer on overnight 100 milers, etc. they are the perfect shirt.
Sean got a pair of EZ shorts and it was his first experience wearing them. He said they are extremely comfortable, perfect for every day use, fit well, feel good on and look sharp!
They are a 7in short, which is a bit longer than Sean normally gravitates to (he normally wears the 4in length in other rabbit shorts for running/racing) but he’s found that the 7in is great for casual wear.
The EZ Men’s tights are kind of a game changer, while we are lucky to have great weather in San Diego, it does get cooler in the mornings & the evenings. They are super lightweight, not bulky and they fit exactly like you would want them to fit. They are great for that brisk morning run or just to keep warm when it’s a little cooler out. They are super functional and a great addition to anyone’s favorite clothing drawer!
The tights are really amazing! We both thought they were just like a second skin, so soft and so comfortable.
Overall, we are huge fans of the rabbit EZ collection and would recommend this line to anyone!
