It’s spring and I’m back with another box from my friends at BabbleBoxx. This time it’s all about Mind & Body.
So what’s in this month’s box?
We’ve got Tree Hut Strawberry Shea Sugar Scrub. This sugar scrub smells amazing, like a summer day, with notes of fresh strawberry, pink pineapple (which incidentally I didn’t know existed until now) and peach blossoms. I used it this morning and the scent is still noticeable and just makes me happy. Not too strong but just enough.
Did you know that strawberries are know to contain skin-loving antioxidants & Vitamin C which can help to hydrate your skin? In addition Tree Hut added a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) so the scrub can penetrate deeply into our pores to exfoliate off all those dead skin cells so we have clearer, more even looking skin, plus it’s got shea butter in it so I didn’t even have to put an extra moisturizer on after I used it!
Next up is Tone It Up! They sent me two of their plant-based protein products. We’ve got the Tone It Up Plant-Based Protein Cookie in Snickerdoodle & the Tone It Up Plant-Based Protein Bar in Chocolate Peanut Butter.
Both products have 10g of plant based protein, 170 calories and are non-gmo, gluten free & kosher.
I really enjoyed the taste of the Chocolate Peanut Butter bar, the Snickerdoodle cookie was ok, but it left me with an aftertaste that was so-so.
Tone It Up products are created by women for women and while I’ve not joined the group, I know a lot of women who have over the years.
Next is a product that’s not necessarily easy for people (women) to talk about. Tena Incontinence Pads. While I don’t have an issue with Incontinence, 1 in 3 North American women suffer from urinary incontinence typically post-partum and when menopausal and most women don’t seek help for 6-8 years.
Tena is trying to encourage a more open dialogue around our evolving bodies and break the silence about health issues like incontinence. Their pads are not visible when wearing tight clothing, like leggings or body hugging dresses.
If you suffer from incontinence, you can use code TENA10 to save 10% off any TENA Intimates Pads product. And as I don’t need this package, I’m happy to ship to someone who can use them, please email me at runnylegs@yahoo.com and I’ll ship to the first person (US Only).
Lastly, we’ve got New Skin® Scarfade. I’m really excited for Scarfade because I have a huge scar on my knee from a fall a few years back and I have wanted to do something about it but never think to get anything when I am at the store.
ScarFade is a gel treatment for new and old scars. It applies easily and works on scars from surgery, injury, burns, acne & stretch marks.
The silicone gel that ScarFade uses provides better results than other products on the market. They have clinical results showing a 86% reduction in texture, 84% in color & 68% in height of scars. I’m particularly interested in the color part because my knee/leg has been white where the scar was for years now.
So there you have it, 5 new to me products. I think that the Tree Hut Strawberry Scrub & the ScarFade are going to be my most used, what do you think, anything jump out at you that you would want to try?
